Brenau, Mexican Consulate renew grant agreement
Brenau University has received a grant renewal from the government of Mexico that allows first-generation Mexican-American students to pursue higher education at the university. Brenau hosted Consulate General Francisco Javier Díaz de León and Gabriela Cobos Uribe from the Mexican Consulate for a signing ceremony formalizing the grant Friday, Aug. 5, on the historic Gainesville campus.

Ross appointed assistant dean of the Ivester College of Health Sciences
Dr. Heather Ross has been appointed to serve as assistant dean of the Ivester College of Health Sciences. She will continue to serve as the program director and chair of the Department of Physical Therapy.

For the first time in two years, the Gainesville Theatre Alliance is returning to the stage on Brenau University’s historic Gainesville campus for performances of The Secret Garden. The show will take place April 8-16 in the Hosch Theatre and is GTA’s first at Brenau since Pippin in February 2020.
