The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, a nonprofit organization under The Classic Center Authority, continues its commitment to the community by providing scholarships and grants totaling over $60,000 annually. Since its establishment on April 21, 2001, the foundation has been a significant contributor to local arts and education.

The foundation's efforts are supported through various annual fundraising events. These include the upcoming Classic Center Cultural Foundation Golf Tournament on March 24, 2025, and Athens Beer Fest scheduled for April 6, 2025. Other notable events are Breakfast with Santa and Athens Wine Weekend. Each event is aimed at raising funds for scholarships in performing arts, visual arts, and hospitality education.

The foundation not only focuses on financial support but also enhances members' experiences at The Classic Center by offering exclusive trips to New York City and international destinations. This approach helps in fostering a sense of community while promoting cultural growth in Athens.

For those interested in participating or learning more about these initiatives, information is available at ClassicCenter.com.

"The mission of The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is to provide resources to entertain and educate the local community," states the organization. It aims to foster economic growth through diverse programs in performing, visual, and culinary arts as well as workforce development initiatives while maintaining The Classic Center as a state-of-the-art facility.
