Tom Segura has announced additional dates for his global stand-up comedy tour, "Tom Segura: Come Together." The tour will stop at The Classic Center Theatre in Athens, Georgia, on Friday, August 29. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Friday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m. through ClassicCenter.com.
Segura's latest hour of comedy began last year and has been successful with sold-out shows across Asia and North America. Commenting on the tour, Segura stated, "This is the most fun I've had on tour, and I'm excited to continue touring this hour of material to a bunch of great cities across the globe.” He humorously added that it might be the last tour anyone can see if his Instagram algorithm reflects humanity's state.
The event offers ticket buyers an option to purchase Platinum charity tickets. A portion of proceeds from these sales will go to World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization providing meals after natural disasters. Chef José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, expressed gratitude for Segura's support: “We are so grateful for this incredible support—it’s efforts like this that make World Central Kitchen’s work possible.”
Segura is known for his Netflix specials such as "Ball Hog" (2020) and "Disgraceful" (2018), among others. In July 2022, he released his New York Times Bestselling book “I’D LIKE TO PLAY ALONE, PLEASE,” which received positive reviews.
He also co-hosts popular podcasts under Your Mom’s House Studios with Christina Pazsitzky and Bert Kreischer.
The Classic Center in Athens serves as a venue for various events including concerts and conventions. It recently expanded its capabilities with the Akins Ford Arena accommodating up to 8,500 attendees.
