Jackson County girls basketball remains unbeaten after win against Alcovy

The Jackson County girls basketball team continued their undefeated streak in Region 8-AAAAA play with a victory over Alcovy on Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers secured a 57-51 win, maintaining their perfect record in the region.

Currently, the team stands at 12-6 overall and boasts a 5-0 record in regional matches. With seven more games left in both the region and regular season, they are preparing for postseason play scheduled for February.

In the latest match, Madelyn Drucker was the top scorer with 18 points and also contributed five rebounds. Lillie Vick added 11 points and three rebounds to the team's performance. Kelsey Clack provided five points and four assists, while Lydia Wolfe contributed six points and led with ten rebounds.
