Three students from the Jackson County School System have been chosen to participate in the All-State Band weekend scheduled for February 27 through March 1 in Athens. An additional student has been named as an alternate.
The selection process involved several rounds of auditions, which were described as rigorous. The students who qualified are Anthony D'Arienzo and McKenzie Hagerty from Jackson County High School, and Courtney Cameron from East Jackson High School. Brady Sun, also from Jackson County High School, was designated as an alternate.
