Maysville Elementary School and North Jackson Elementary School have been recognized as Title I Reward Schools by the Georgia Department of Education. This recognition is given to schools among the top five percent of Title I institutions in Georgia that have shown significant progress in improving student performance over the past two years on statewide assessments.

Previously, Maysville Elementary was honored as a Literacy Leader in 2023 by the Georgia Department of Education for its remarkable improvement in third-grade literacy during that testing period.

Jackson County Superintendent Dr. Philip Brown acknowledged this achievement alongside Maysville Elementary School Principal Dr. Katie Warwick.
