The Jackson County School System has announced the winners of its District Technology Competition. The selected students will advance to the regional competition scheduled for January in Winder.

In the Animation category, Isaiah Reed and Elijah Zagarella from East Jackson Elementary won in the Third and Fourth Grade division. Kennon Kyle and Brady Hobbs from South Jackson Elementary were recognized in the Fifth and Sixth Grade division. Fatima Young from East Jackson Middle was awarded in the Seventh and Eighth Grade division, while Lillian Hayes from Jackson County High was honored in the Ninth and Tenth Grade division.

For 3D Modeling, Bash Wynn and Callan Kubiak from North Jackson Elementary were named winners for Third and Fourth Grades. Nathan Habacker and Jarek Johnson from Maysville Elementary took home awards for Fifth and Sixth Grades. Xavier Campos from Legacy Knoll Middle was acknowledged for Seventh and Eighth Grades, with Jake Simmons from Empower winning for Eleventh and Twelfth Grades.

In Audio Production, Caroline Odom and Baylor Villanueva of East Jackson Elementary won for Third and Fourth Grades. Ava Autry and Merritt Cole of Heroes Elementary excelled in Fifth and Sixth Grades, while Brighton Andrews from Empower secured a win in Eleventh and Twelfth Grades.

Digital Game Design winners included Graham O’Neal from Gum Springs Elementary for Third and Fourth Grades; Ethan Weaver and Rhys Magness of North Jackson Elementary for Fifth and Sixth Grades; Samuel Layfield of East Jackson Middle for Seventh and Eighth Grades; DeEric Burns of East Jackson High for Eleventh and Twelfth Grades.

Adley Gabe of Gum Springs Elementary received recognition in Digital Photo Production for Third and Fourth Grades, while Miles Centeno of West Jackson Middle was awarded for Fifth to Sixth Grades.

Graphic Design winners included Mattox Jeffers from Gum Springs Elementary (Third-Fourth), Maelynn Marcotte, Baylee Brown both from West Jackson Elementary (Fifth-Sixth), Vanessa Kolyadich from Legacy Knoll Middle (Seventh-Eighth), Jacob Carthern of Empower (Ninth-Tenth), Baileigh Cox of Jackson County High (Eleventh-Twelfth).

Peyton Borsa won Internet Applications at Gum Springs Elementary (Third-Fourth). Larson Benson at Heroes Elementary excelled in Fifth-Sixth grades, with Malhar Trivedi at East Jackson High taking honors in Ninth-Tenth grades.

Annabelle Spence triumphed in Multimedia Applications at Heroes Elementary (Third-Fourth). Rithvicka Purushothama achieved success at Gum Springs Elementary (Fifth-Sixth).

Productivity Design accolades went to Beckett Rylee at East Jackson Elementary (Third-Fourth) as well as Avery Connor, Ella Melyanets both at Gum Springs Elementary (Fifth-Sixth).

Robotics winners included Navaeh Barr, Ainsley Moon both at East Jackson Elementary (Third-Fourth); Skylan Dearing, Joey Wall both at East Jackson Middle (Fifth-Sixth); Andrew Johnson, Victor Negrete-Loera both at East Jackson Middle (Seventh-Eighth); Duncan Porter, Jack Saucier both at East Jackson High (Ninth-Tenth); Dennis Cooper, Jacob Mayhue both at East Jackson High (Eleventh-Twelfth).

Izi Gamble triumphed in Video Production at East Jackson Elementary alongside Nolan Kesler also representing them within their age group bracket similarly found elsewhere across this same event too!
