Maysville Elementary School has been recognized as a 2023-24 National Beta School of Merit. This accolade is awarded to schools that offer National Beta to all eligible grades, showcasing their commitment to academic excellence.
The National Beta School of Merit award acknowledges the dedication and commitment of clubs towards maintaining high academic standards. To qualify for this honor, schools must include members from all eligible grade levels in the Beta Club. Notably, only 49 percent of Beta Clubs across the nation received this distinction this year.
In addition to Maysville Elementary, several other schools within the Jackson County School System have also achieved the Beta School of Merit status. These include East Jackson Elementary, East Jackson Middle, East Jackson High, Gum Springs Elementary, and South Jackson Elementary.
