Jackson County School System receives $10,000 grant for computer science education

The Jackson County School System has been awarded the 2024 Computer Science Teacher Equipment and Community Grant by the Georgia Department of Education. This grant, valued at $10,000, will support up to five teachers in joining a professional organization for computer science teachers. Additionally, it will fund the purchase of a class set of computing devices and provide necessary training for their implementation.
