Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-265, the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections and Voter Registration approved changing the Election Day polling location for voters in Precinct 7A at its meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The new location is Timothy Baptist Church, located at 380 Timothy Road, Athens, GA 30606. The change will be in effect starting with the November 5, 2024 General Election. The previous polling location, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens at 780 Timothy Road, had requested changing the polling location from its facility to a new site.

Athens-Clarke County voting districts and precincts will not change as part of the process, only the polling place at which voters in Precinct 7A would vote in-person on Election Day. All voters affected by this change will be issued a new voter registration card in the mail pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-226(e).

For additional information, contact the Athens-Clarke County Elections Department at 155 E Washington Street, Athens, GA 30601 or by calling 706-613-3150.
