In accordance with the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A.) § 21-2-386(a)(2)(A), this notice serves to inform the Athens-Clarke County community that the Athens-Clarke County Elections Department will commence processing absentee ballots cast in the June 18, 2024 election on the following date and time:
Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM until completion.
The processing will be conducted at the Athens-Clarke County Facilities Management Building located at 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605.
As per O.C.G.A. § 21-2-386(a)(3), the early tabulation process for absentee ballots cast in the June 18, 2024 election will begin at 2:00 PM. Additionally, early tabulation of all votes cast during the advance voting period for this election will start at 6:00 PM on June 18, 2024.
