Experts predict Georgia will add more healthcare jobs than any other state (except Utah) between now and 2020. Healthcare will lead all other industries and account for one-fourth of all new jobs created by 2020, according to the Georgia Department of Labor. It is projected to grow by 120,000 jobs and employ nearly 540,000 workers overall. Nationally, close to 6 million new jobs will be created in the same period.
