Of the 1,271 people living in Comer in 2019, 51.5 percent (655) were women and 48.5 percent (616) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Athens Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 413-to-277. In the 65 and over age range, there were 118 females and 146 males.
