U.S. Congressman Jody Hice (R-Ga.) is pointing to footage of after-hours counting in Fulton County as evidence something may have gone awry in the Nov. 3 election.
Hice tweeted a video of poll workers, purportedly in Fulton County, counting ballots after hours.
“This looks like election fraud on a mass scale. Fulton officials throw everyone out of the room and start counting ballots in secret. For 2 hours. 3,000 ballots per hour per machine. Multiple machines. The margin in Georgia is 12,000.You do the math, @GaSecofState,” Hice tweeted.
Hice is not the first to highlight the alleged issue.
Secretary of State Brad Raffsenperger —who has beat back most allegations of irregularities made by the Trump campaign — said election staff in Fulton County made several errors on Nov. 3.
David Shafer, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, previously noted Fulton County officials were alleged to have allowed counting of ballots after hours and without the oversight of bi-partisan election observers.
A judge ordered election officials to preserve all materials related to elections in Cobb, Gwinnett and Cherokee counties, following allegations of inaccuracies.
After a hand recount and audit, Gov. Brian Kemp certified the official vote.
