World of Wonder playground to close temporarily for tree planting on October 22

The World of Wonder playground at Southeast Clarke Park, located at 325 Whit Davis Road, will be closed on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM due to the planting of new trees. According to officials, the playground will reopen and return to its regular schedule after the work is completed.

Other amenities at Southeast Clarke Park will remain accessible during their usual hours while the tree planting takes place. For additional details, community members are encouraged to call 706-613-3800.
