Vince Gill, a well-known figure in country music, has announced his “50 Years From Home” tour, which will include a performance at The Classic Center Theatre in Athens, Georgia on June 23, 2026. Tickets for the event will be available to the public starting January 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. through ClassicCenter.com.

Gill is recognized for his achievements as a musician, songwriter, vocalist, and producer. He has won 22 Grammy Awards and has been an active member of the Eagles for much of the past nine years. The Eagles are currently performing to sold-out audiences at Sphere in Las Vegas. Gill plans to continue performing with the band alongside his solo work.

The tour is part of Gill’s commemoration of his five-decade career since leaving Oklahoma to pursue music professionally. To mark this milestone, he is releasing a series of EPs under the title “50 Years From Home.” Three EPs have been released so far: “I Gave You Everything I Had” (October 17, 2025), “Secondhand Smoke” (November 14, 2025), and “Brown’s Diner Bar” (January 9, 2026). Each EP features six new songs and one previous hit.

Gill’s upcoming summer tour will begin on June 18 and includes several dates across multiple states as well as a six-night residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Information about tickets can be found at ClassicCenter.com.

Gill continues to receive recognition for his contributions to music. He was presented with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2025 and inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Musicians Hall of Fame during his career. His songwriting earned him entry into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and other honors.

A statement from American Songwriter said: “Gill is so much more than a world-class singer and guitar slinger; he’s also the storyteller of many generations.”
