Clinical Associate Professor and Prosecutorial Justice Program Director Melissa D. Redmon has published an article in the Stetson Law Review. The article, titled “Undermining Local Autonomy: State-level Legislative Interference in Prosecutorial Discretion,” appears in volume 55 of the journal.

Redmon’s work addresses how state legislatures can impact local prosecutors’ ability to make decisions independently. The publication highlights ongoing debates about the balance between state authority and local control within the criminal justice system.
