UGA law students win regional mock trial championship, advance to nationals

A team of law students from the University of Georgia has won the regional championship at the All-Star Bracket Challenge mock trial competition. The winning team includes third-year law students Maya E.M. Davis, Kaylah J. Holmes, Eric Narbo, and second-year law student Naryan “Ryan” C. Parimi. The group was coached by UGA School of Law alumni Jonathan Stuart and Whitney Stuart.

The team will advance to compete at the national level in San Antonio in November.

Another team from UGA also participated in the tournament, consisting of third-year students Andrea D. Bell, Nicole P. Golson, Rosalie J. Vendrell, and Carrington S. Wilkes. This group went undefeated during the preliminary rounds of the competition. Carrington S. Wilkes received recognition as Outstanding Advocate for her performance in the tournament.

This second UGA team was coached by B. Elizabeth “Liz” Tarver.
