UGA law students reach semifinals at national mock trial competition

The University of Georgia School of Law team reached the semifinals at the William W. Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Competition. The team consisted of second-year law students Eric S. Gulbranson, Daniel J. Lanclos, Sarah Elizabeth Najjar, and Isabel M. Stafford. Kimrey A. Dillon and William P. “Wil” Stowers participated as witnesses for the team.

Adjunct Professor Jeremy Dailey and alumnus Nick R. Lewis coached the group during the competition.

The William W. Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Competition is recognized as a prominent event in legal education, offering law students practical experience in trial advocacy.

“Congratulations to second-year law students Eric S. Gulbranson, Daniel J. Lanclos, Sarah Elizabeth Najjar and Isabel M. Stafford on finishing as national semifinalists at the William W. Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Competition,” said the University of Georgia School of Law in a statement.

The school regularly participates in national competitions to help students develop their courtroom skills.
