On Dec. 1, 2022, Wesley Woods of Athens hosted their signature event, Festival of Trees, for the first time since 2019. Community guests were invited to tour resident apartments, enjoy desserts, sip coffee compliments of Jittery Joe’s and to relax to the sounds of holiday music with a live classical guitar performance.

The focal points included eight Christmas trees uniquely and beautifully decorated by Helen Bridges, Interior Design Consultant. Local businesses and organizations sponsored each of the trees. Eight apartments were decorated for the holidays and available to tour—at least one of each style offered. Guests were able to visit with members of OLLI, participate in Music with Amanda in The Plaza Personal Care Lobby and grab popcorn and pom poms in the Georgia Tailgate Room.
