The Classic Center Cultural Foundation Grant Recipient Hosts Successful Arts Summit

The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2022 community grant program. Each year, the Cultural Foundation awards up to $5,000 in grants to support performing, visual, or culinary arts efforts, as well as workforce development initiatives aligning with the hospitality industry, in Athens-Clarke County.
The Classic Center Cultural Foundation was excited to see a 2021 grant recipient, The Athens-Clarke County Arts Division, host a successful Arts Summit on August 5 and August 6, at the Morton Theatre in downtown Athens, Georgia. The Athens-Clarke County Arts Division<https://www.accgov.com/617/Arts>, continuously fosters creative experiences in the community, producing a shared appreciation for the arts culture throughout Athens.
The Arts Summit was a free event open to the public that included keynote speaker Charmaine Minniefield, a recent recipient of a “National Endowment for the Arts Our Town” Grant. Sessions were also available throughout the weekend designed to educate local artists through career development and professional practices.
The Cultural Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2022 community grant.
