Rep. Andrew Clyde, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 9th District, shared a series of tweets addressing political actions and fiscal issues. Andrew Clyde has been in office since 2021 after succeeding Doug Collins. Clyde was born in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Bethel University, with further education from the University of Georgia.

On April 4, 2025, Clyde posted a single-word tweet calling for action to "Impeach."

The following day, on April 5, 2025, Clyde referenced financial discipline in another tweet, highlighting efforts for fiscal cuts, stating, “$4 Billion in enforceable cuts” over 10 years is what Elon aims to do EVERY DAY in DOGE.”

Further on the same day, Clyde criticized the Senate’s budget resolution via a tweet. He argued, "From budget gimmicks to a pathetic $4B in spending cuts, the Senate’s budget resolution is a non-starter." He emphasized the importance of a fiscally responsible approach to fulfilling President Trump’s America First agenda. He concluded by stating his opposition to the current form of the resolution, saying, "If this comes to the floor in its current form, I’m a NO."
