Animal shelter requests newspaper donations amid rise in ringworm cases

The local animal shelter is in need of newspaper donations due to an increase in ringworm cases. The newspapers will be used for cleaning and disinfecting the areas where animals are housed.

Donations can be dropped off at 125 Buddy Christian Way, Athens, GA 30605. The drop-off times are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
