Athens-Clarke County Planning Department employees will be working remotely on Friday, October 11. This decision comes as a result of maintenance work scheduled for the roof of their office located in the Dougherty Street Government Building at 120 W. Dougherty Street.

Residents and others with planning-related inquiries are encouraged to reach out via email at planning@accgov.com or leave a voicemail at 706-613-3515. Additionally, messages can be sent directly to individual staff members through the ACCGov staff directory available online at www.accgov.com/staff.

Despite this temporary shift to remote work for the Planning Department, other departments housed within the same building, such as the Building Permits & Inspections Department and Transportation & Public Works Department, will continue their operations in person without any changes.
