Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-265, the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections and Voter Registration proposes a change to the Election Day polling place for voters in Precinct 7A. The current location, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens at 780 Timothy Rd, Athens, GA 30606, is proposed to be moved to Timothy Baptist Church at 380 Timothy Road, Athens, GA 30606. This change would take effect beginning with the November 5, 2024 General Election.

The voting districts and precincts within Athens-Clarke County will remain unchanged; only the polling place for Precinct 7A voters will be affected.

The Board of Elections and Voter Registration will consider this proposed change during its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Athens-Clarke County Planning Auditorium located at 120 West Dougherty Street in Athens at 4:30 PM.

If approved by the Board of Elections & Voter Registration, all voters impacted by this change will receive a new voter registration card in the mail as per O.C.G.A. § 21-2-226(e).
