Madison County School District: 147 Asian students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 147 Asian students enrolled in Madison County school district in the 2022-23 school year, 3.5% more than the previous year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Madison County school district welcomed 4,901 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 3% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county's school district.

This is the only school district located within Madison County, with its main office in Danielsville.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 15:1, which is better than the national average of 16:1. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
