Penny, formerly known as Agatha, has the ultimate life of love that every pup dreams of! Now settled in her forever home, Penny enjoys basking in the warmth of her pet parents' affection. They shared with us their happy tail:
"Penny is what they term a 'foster fail', although she really was only a foster visitor, as we volunteered to keep her for a long weekend during which her long-term foster family was out of town. That weekend she was the queen of the house and we were head over heels for her by the time she was picked up again on Sunday evening. A little over a week passed by when we had spent the whole time talking about how much we missed her. Finally, the next Monday, I completed the application to adopt her. Because she had already fostered with us, we were approved quickly and six hours later (after a trip to PetSmart), we were bringing her to her forever home!
Penny keeps us laughing, with her lopsided ears, expressive face, and the fact that she will make herself comfortable wherever wants to lay, even if that means on the pile of clean laundry piled on the couch to be folded. She has kept us active, making sure we take our walks daily so she can find a stick to hold (she keeps a collection by our front door) and play with her many toys that have been sent from extended family and friends. She is also the biggest cuddle-bug, and is known to steal a warm spot on the couch if left deserted for a minute. She hates going out in the rain without her raincoat. I can't remember what our house was like without her! She has been the perfect addition to our family and I am so thankful to AAHS and the foster program for taking such good care of her! We can't wait until she is more settled in our lives so we can welcome more foster pets into our home and help continue to save lives."
