The Classic Center Cultural Foundation receives a grant from The Newland Family Foundation, Inc., that will be used to support the experience for students in The Classic Center Learning Lab.
The Newland Family Foundation is a private, non-operating foundation that supports programs in Athens-Clarke County designed to enhance human services, education, conservation, and the environment. The $25,000 grant awarded by The Newland Family Foundation, Inc. will boost The Classic Center’s Learning Lab concept, elevating hospitality education for students in the Athens-Clarke County community.
“It is such an honor to be chosen as a recipient for The Newland Family Foundation, Inc.,” said Beth Bryant, Director of the Cultural Foundation. “This funding will assist the Cultural Foundation’s mission to provide resources to educate the local community and foster economic growth by supporting workforce development through The Classic Center’s Hospitality Learning Lab.”
