Piedmont Eastside Medical Center Top Sponsor for Run the Reagan

Runners 1438373 639x239

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is proud to be the 2023 Title Sponsor of the Run the Reagan race again this year! This year’s race will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30p.m. It will feature a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1-mile Fun Run, and family fun center. The premier race, on average, brings out thousands of runners to not only promote a healthy lifestyle, but to support community organizations as well. All proceeds go towards four local charities: The Brookwood Schools Foundation, The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry, South Gwinnett Cluster Foundation and the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry.

Every year, the race brings in nearly $50,000, allowing for the division of $16,000 per charity.

“At Piedmont Eastside, we strive to be there for our community and this is another way we say thank you: Thank you for your time, effort, and for the countless volunteers who put on such a great family event,” said Piedmont Eastside CEO Trent Lind. “We hope by being a part of this initiative Eastside continues making a difference in our community.”

“Even if you cannot run in any of the races, we’d love to have you as a volunteer,” said Ron Weber, board member of the Run the Reagan. “This race is put on by you. The community, volunteers and our gracious sponsors. We’re hoping this is our biggest race yet.”

Run the Reagan charities greatly benefit from the many local sponsors who participate, including Piedmont Eastside, a longtime sponsor. Piedmont Eastside is proud to continue its longstanding tradition of sponsoring the Run the Reagan event and providing support to the community and charities this event serves.

This event marks the 28th year of the race.
