Allie Adkins has been named Associate Attorney, Kimbrough Law Managing Partner Hailey Brock announced today.
Ms. Adkins joined the firm in September 2021 as a Student Law Clerk working under the supervision of the firm’s partners while completing law school. She passed the Georgia Bar examination in October.
“We are thrilled that Allie has decided to launch her legal career with us,” said Ms. Brock. “She has performed brilliantly during the last year. She has already proven herself a valuable member of the Kimbrough Law team.”
In her role as Student Law Clerk, Ms. Adkins worked on a wide variety of estate planning and elder matters, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, and Guardianships.
Ms. Adkins graduated summa cum laude from Young Harris College with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Before joining Kimbrough Law, Ms. Adkins worked as a Student Advocate at Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic, handling intakes and hearing preparation for victims of domestic violence and stalking. Allie also served as a Judicial Clerk to Judge Amanda Trimble of the Western Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court in Athens, and a Student Law Clerk to Debra M. Finch, PC Child Advocacy & Adoption Law.
Ms. Adkins is excited to be working for a firm known as a leader in estate planning, elder law, asset protection, VA benefits, and Medicaid planning.
