Solarize Athens 2.0 launched in Aug. 2019 to help make it easier and cheaper to go solar in Athens-Clarke County and surrounding communities. We also wanted to use the program to generate a donated solar system that would help a worthy non-profit save money and free up funds to invest in their mission.
The Solarize Athens 2.0 committee chose Rashe Malcolm’s Farm to Neighborhood non-profit organization as the recipient of the free solar array and now, we’re ready to celebrate!
Join us on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 2:00 p.m. for a ribbon cutting, followed by a community event to applaud this new solar project.
We’ll meet in the parking lot outside the building for the event. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly, we hope to see you there!
