Athens Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
Georgia Options presents casino night fundraiser to benefit adults with disabilities and support them to live typical lives. Georgia Options is hosting its first casino night—A Night in Monte Carlo—on Thursday April 14th, 2022 from 6-9 PM at Live Wire in Athens, GA. A Night in Monte Carlo will bring the community together to share in Georgia Options’ vision of a society in which people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included in the community.
The event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, a raffle, and various casino games: blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker. Tickets can be purchased and donations can be made online at https://givebutter.com/night-in-montecarlo.
