APALACHEE HIGH SCHOOL: Dual Enrollment Informational Meeting

Meeting

Apalachee High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.

Congratulations on taking the next big step in your future! Dual Enrollment is a fantastic way to earn free college credits, leave high school with valuable, work-ready certificates (like welding, automotive, construction, etc.) or up to an entire first year of college classes finished BEFORE high school graduation!

Your first required step of this journey will be for you and a parent or guardian to attend a Dual Enrollment Information Meeting. We are offering three options to meet everyone’s needs:

  • Thursday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Cafeteria
  • Friday, Jan. 28 at Noon report to the Sims Academy front office for the specific location
  • Saturday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. in the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Cafeteria
You and your parent/guardian only need to attend one of these events! If you are worried about attending in person, you may request an online meeting by emailing michael.kulp@barrow.k12.ga.us. At the end of your meeting, you will learn about the next steps, like getting accepted to the college you want to attend and how to get funding. These events are the only way to move forward with this process, so make plans to attend one of these meetings!
