County of Oconee issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.
The Oconee County Board of Commissioners held its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The following actions were taken at the meeting:
- Approved with one condition Rezone P21-0213 for ±4.93 acres located on Union Church Road from AG (Agricultural District) to AR (Agricultural Residential District)
- Approved Public Safety Officials and First Responder Supplemental Grant along with budget amendment as necessary
- Approved the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act Funding Contract, which provides additional support for nutrition services to aid Senior Center Home Delivered Meals clients during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Approved Budget Submittal Plan for Fiscal Year 2023
- Approved Oconee County Elections Qualifying Fees for 2022
- Approved purchase of Fire Department Air Truck and budget amendments as necessary
- Approved ACCG resolution supporting reform to the Georgia Annexation Dispute Resolution Law
