BRENAU UNIVERSITY: On-campus events for outside guests to resume starting Friday, Oct. 1

Istock 000010436389 medium

Brenau University issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.

In consultation with the COVID-19 Task Force and our Event Services office, the university will allow non-Brenau persons, groups and organizations to host events on campus starting on Friday, Oct. 1. To this point of the academic year, only events that originated from and were hosted by Brenau offices — such as admission tours and events with alumni — were allowed.

While we are pleased to announce this opening of our campus, it does not mean that we are changing our protocols to keep the Brenau and surrounding community safe. All groups must conform to the rules in place across our campuses, including the wearing of masks inside all facilities and the use of our Daily COVID-19 Screening Checklist.

For more information on the steps to book and host an event, please see the Event Services webpage.
