Of the 310 people living in Maxeys in 2019, 51.3 percent (159) were women and 48.7 percent (151) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Athens Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 99-to-79. In the 65 and over age range, there were 35 females and 16 males.
