Staff Council elects officers for 2026-2027 academic year

The Staff Council elected its officers for the upcoming academic year at a meeting held on April 1. The new leadership will assume their roles starting July 1, according to an announcement released on April 10.

The council named Rebecca Mayo from the Office of Research as President and Harper Davison from the Office of Global Engagement as Vice President. Wendy Holland, representing the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, was chosen as Coordinator. Mary Formo from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will serve as Recording Secretary, while Ashley Weed from the Office of Research was selected as Treasurer.

These appointments mark a transition in leadership for the Staff Council, which plays a role in representing staff interests across various university departments.

With these elections completed, preparations are underway for the incoming officers to begin their terms with the start of the new academic year.
