St. Mary’s Health Care System has entered a multi-year agreement to become the official health care provider for Akins Ford Arena and The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. The partnership will include visible elements such as naming rights for the Infant Care and Sensory rooms and sponsorship recognition at events like the Broadway Entertainment Series and Athens On Ice.

Paul Cramer, President/CEO of The Classic Center Authority, said, “St. Mary’s sponsorship of the arena’s sensory room, the infant care rooms in both facilities, and major events throughout the year demonstrates an outstanding commitment to the comfort, well-being, and inclusivity of our guests and community. This partnership will allow us to strengthen the experience for visitors of all ages and abilities, reflecting our shared dedication to exceptional hospitality. The Classic Center serves as a venue for conventions, meetings, concerts, sporting tournaments, weddings, and special events in Athens with its newly opened Akins Ford Arena capable of hosting over 8,000 attendees.
St. Mary’s Health Care System operates three hospitals as part of Trinity Health with specialties including neurosciences, cardiac care, general medicine/surgery, orthopedics,primary care, robotic surgery as well as women’s and children’s health.
