Seven faculty members at the University of Georgia School of Law were awarded seed grants this spring, according to a Mar. 30 announcement from the school. Professors Christopher M. Bruner, Patrick D. Conner, Desirée LeClercq, Patricia M. “Trish” Murphy, Heather Simmons and Anne M. Tucker received 2025 Teaming for Interdisciplinary Research Pre-Seed grants, while Professor Steffney R. Thompson was awarded a Presidential Interdisciplinary Seed Grant.

These awards support faculty efforts to pursue new research projects and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across academic fields.

The University of Georgia School of Law has gained recognition in several areas beyond faculty research initiatives.
