Rep. Andrew Clyde is serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Georgia’s 9th district since 2021. Born in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, Clyde graduated with degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Bethel University, and the University of Georgia. He recently shared insights and opinions on social media regarding his engagements and current political issues.

On the morning of April 3, 2025, Clyde expressed his gratitude for being part of a discussion at the Pentagon focusing on military fiscal responsibility. He tweeted, “I was honored to take part in a productive conversation at the Pentagon this morning centered around bolstering our great military in a fiscally responsible manner. Thank you for having us, @SecDef!”

Later that same day, Clyde addressed immigration and public safety in another tweet. He expressed a viewpoint on a recent death incident, emphasizing the need for stringent immigration enforcement. According to him, “Another heartbreaking death that was 100% avoidable—because this illegal should have NEVER been in our country. Thankfully, the Trump Administration is working to prevent additional tragedies by tracking down, detaining, and deporting illegal aliens.”

On April 4, 2025, Clyde shared positive news regarding the economy. He highlighted the significant job growth in March, attributing it to the policies of the Trump administration. He noted on Twitter, “The U.S. economy added 228,000 jobs in March—far exceeding expectations. President Trump’s pro-growth policies are working to rebuild and reignite our economy.”
