0Comments

Athens-Clarke County Transit is currently undergoing a Transit Development Plan (TDP) update. The TDP is a five-year strategic plan that identifies how Transit will meet state and local priorities for public transportation through operating changes, capital improvements, and strategic investments. The update will set the future vision and goals for Transit and serve as a blueprint for system and service investments.

The public is encouraged to participate in the process. An online survey is now available at accgov.com/transit and is open through February 28.

In addition, several pop-up meetings will be conducted throughout Athens during the public comment period, starting with the International Coffee Hour at UGA’s Memorial Hall on Friday, January 20 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Residents can also share feedback in-person at the Multimodal Transportation Center (775 East Broad Street) on Friday, January 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Other opportunities will be announced through the Transit website, notification system, and social media accounts.

For more information and to get involved, visit accgov.com/transit or contact Rachel Hopkins, Transit Marketing Coordinator, at 706-612-8704 or rachel.hopkins@accgov.com.
