Former Jefferson High School standout Audrey Burton took the field with the Presbyterian Blue Hose on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. as they dropped a 12-3 NCAA Division I softball decision to the Winthrop Eagles.
The matchup, hosted at PC Softball Complex, marked their second encounter with the Eagles this season. Earlier that day, the Blue Hose had come away with a 13-5 victory in their previous meeting.
Burton tallied one hit in three plate appearances.
The Blue Hose are set to face Winthrop Eagles next on Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at the PC Softball Complex.
