For the second year, Piedmont Walton Hospital has donated more than $10,000 to local high school athletic departments. Piedmont Walton Community Relations Manager Heather Boyce presented each school with a check in the amount of $1,500 to support the schools’ sports programs.

“We believe that better health is a team sport and we’re proud to care for the next generation of student athletes,” said Boyce. “These sponsorships give us an opportunity to support the needs of all of the athletic programs offered by these schools, and we are committed to working with the athletic directors to empower and strengthen high school sports programs in our community.”

Walnut Grove High School, Loganville High School, George Walton Academy, Trinity Prep School, Monroe Area High School, Social Circle High School, and Loganville Christian Academy each received a sponsorship check.
