Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission seeks applicants for three open positions

The Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission (ORGC) is currently accepting applications for three new members. The ORGC is a resident committee that provides advice to the Athens-Clarke County Mayor & Commission on issues concerning the Oconee Rivers Greenway system. This includes planning for river-oriented greenways within the county and recommending measures to protect the resources of the Oconee Rivers and their tributaries.

The commission holds its meetings every third Tuesday of the month at 3:00 PM. Applications for membership will be accepted until October 24, 2025.
