NOTICE OF APPOINTMENTS

TO OCONEE COUNTY ADVISORY BOARDS & COMMITTEES

The Oconee County Board of Commissioners is seeking citizen applicants for appointments to the following:

Chair of the Board of Elections & Registration: One appointment to begin immediately for a term that will expire December 31, 2026.  The Chair will assist in the selection, appointment, and training of poll workers for elections.  Meetings are held monthly on the first Monday at 5:00 pm at the Board of Elections Office, 10 Court Street, Watkinsville.

Tourism and Visitors Bureau:   One appointment to start immediately and expire on June 30, 2024. Members of this Board will assist the Bureau with guidance and direction and oversee the operations of the Bureau.  The meetings will be held at the Oconee State Bank Operations Center, Watkinsville on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
