The only school district in Clarke County faced declining enrollment in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

There were 11,504 students enrolled in Clarke County School District, 0% less than the year before.

Of all students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, 51% were male, and 49% were female.

The most represented ethnicity among Clarke County School District students was Black, accounting for 44% of the student population.

Clarke County School District has a main office in Athens and is the only school district within Clarke County.
