Students in the Jackson County School System (JCSS) have outperformed both state and national averages on the SAT exam for the 2024-25 school year. According to recent data, 258 students from JCSS took the SAT, achieving an average score of 1,069. This result is higher than the Georgia state average of 1,029 and the national average of 996.

JCSS students also surpassed mean scores in both Evidence-Based Reading and Writing as well as mathematics.
