Houston Gaines, a Republican state representative for Georgia’s 120th House District, shared updates about his campaign activities and community advocacy through several posts on social media in April 2026.
On April 13, Gaines described his efforts on the campaign trail: “After church in Monroe this morning & a full afternoon on the campaign trail (plus a quick Masters check), we’re putting up signs tonight in Barrow & Walton counties. Want one? We only place signs with property owner permission—sign up & we’ll deliver: https://t.co/aLq2L8mnbc https://t.co/GcyLEZCzxL”
The following day, April 14, he addressed an incident involving the Nix family: “What the Nix family experienced should’ve never happened—and we’re going to make sure it never happens again. I’ll never stop fighting for our community. https://t.co/rZnyHbOIyC”
Later that same day, Gaines acknowledged support from national leadership: “Thank you, Mr. President! We will never let you or the 10th district down. I’m honored to have your support https://t.co/jfsjsikCa9”
Gaines was elected to the Georgia State House in 2023 after replacing former representative Trey Rhodes as part of the state’s legislative delegation.
