Houston Gaines, a Republican member of the Georgia State House representing the 120th District since 2023, recently shared updates on his campaign activities and public appearances through several posts on social media.

On August 22, 2025, Gaines expressed appreciation for local party support in a post stating, “Enjoyed being with the Madison County GOP last night! Thanks for having me & for the strong support. Look forward to being back soon.”

Two days later, on August 24, he described a campaign event attended by hundreds of supporters: “Gabi & I had a blast with our 400 closest friends tonight at the 10th District BBQ Bash. We were blown away by the support – went through hundreds of stickers & ran out of signs. I want to thank all of our volunteers who helped us tonight. Full speed ahead!”

That same day, Gaines highlighted recognition from Martha Zoller on Georgia Gang: “Houston Gaines is a winner. He’s doing a fantastic job in his campaign. He’s showing up everywhere, and I think he’s doing a great job.” Honored to be named @MarthaZoller’s winner on Georgia Gang this morning. Looking forward to another busy week ahead on the campaign trail!”

Gaines was elected to represent Georgia’s 120th House District in 2023 after succeeding Trey Rhodes as state representative.
