Houston Gaines, a Republican member of the Georgia State House representing the 120th District since 2023, has recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing support for Georgia’s agriculture industry, election legislation, and law enforcement.

On February 10, 2026, Gaines expressed gratitude for an endorsement from Tyler Harper. He wrote: “Thank you, @TylerHarperGA! I’m honored to have your support and look forward to continue working alongside you to support Georgia’s #1 industry.”

Two days later, on February 12, 2026, Gaines commented on voting legislation in Congress. He stated: “Hard to believe only one Democrat supports requiring ID to vote. The SAVE Act is common sense. Time for the Senate to pass this bill & send it to @POTUS’s desk.”

On February 13, 2026, Gaines welcomed law enforcement officials at the state capitol. He posted: “It was great to welcome Georgia’s Chiefs of Police to the Capitol this week. I’m proud to back the blue and grateful for all our men and women in law enforcement do to keep our communities safe!”

Gaines succeeded Trey Rhodes as representative of Georgia’s 120th House District after being elected in 2023.
